The Centre for Nonviolence and Peace Studies of the University of Rhode Island, USA conferred Dr. Gopal Krishna Siwakoti, President of INHURED International an ”Honorary Kingian Nonviolence Advocate for Promoting Global Peace” amidst a special function organised at the Univertsity auditorium today. The Award, which was conferred for the first time by the University in recognition of advancing Martin Luther King’s doctrine, included a certificate/plaque of honor and university emblem. Dr. Siwakoti was invited for a special guest lecture on peace dividend .and transitional justice at the International Summer Institute of the University.
